A Word to Prescription Drug Survivors

Dear Prescription Drug Survivors – You are not Alone

Isolation:
You may feel like this is only happening to you and your family…like nobody could possibly relate to what you are going through. Unfortunately, you are not alone. There are thousands of others just like you and me. Thousands of lives lost and shattered each day because of greed and corporate malfeasance.

If you are the surviving family member of a loved one lost in a prescription drug tragedy, I am terribly sorry for your loss. I know that you are devastated and if you aren’t already, will become extremely angry about what you uncover.

Healing:
I hope that the information provided here will assist you on the road to health and total recovery. Several links to resources for help with withdrawal and adverse events appear on this site. These practitioners are all qualified addiction and recovery specialists. I encourage you to reach out to one of these healing networks or another community of like minds. Do not isolate or ruminate with despair. This problem will only seem insurmountable if you try to go it alone!

Creating Change:
I ask in time that you try to channel your energy into something positive in memory of your loved one. Become an activist for this cause and educate as many people as you can. Talk about your experience with others. Break the silence. You must now become the voice of the dear one who has been prematurely silenced!

Every day I grieve for the pain, suffering, and loss that occurs because of prescription drug tragedies. And every day I imagine the change that becomes possible whenever one more person takes on working toward the common goal and noble purpose of prescription drug truth!

In truth for health,

Gwen Olsen
